Yes, I'm back in the land of the living, being bedridden for the better part of a week tends to stem Ramblings a bit.

I would rant, but today I thought I'd much rather regail you with a few of my favourite things:

kittens, mittens, spoons full of sugar, let's do the timewarp science fiction....... (that is how it goes right?)

Firstly,the 3 albums I have sex to the most  have been listening on loop at work:

Korpiklaani's Manala:

What an album by these finns! It reminds me of their earlier stuff before they went Mainstream could afford decent production. It is impecably produced, but the music is BAD ASS folk metal, the english version of the album is quite the treat as well! in fact go listen to it, right now, there must be some tracks on youtube by now!

Sabaton's Carolus Rex: Strong contender for Album of the year in my opinion, The Power hungry swedes have brought their A game to this offering. Seriously impressive stuff. Hair raising ballad's. And probably the best cover in the universe! listenable below thanks to the power of YOUTUBE!

and of course, the one that this week hath been unleashed...
 
Ensiferum's Unsung Heroes!  Absolutely amazing, i posted the video a while ago, on a friday, go check it out there! The whole album is fist-pumpingly epic, and as hard and fast as ever! these guys prove why they are masters of the Folk metalverse!
