Yes, I'm back in the land of the living, being bedridden for the better part of a week tends to stem Ramblings a bit.

I would rant, but today I thought I'd much rather regail you with a few of my favourite things:

What an album by these finns! It reminds me of their earlier stuff before they went Mainstream could afford decent production. It is impecably produced, but the music is BAD ASS folk metal, the english version of the album is quite the treat as well! in fact go listen to it, right now, there must be some tracks on youtube by now!

Sabaton's Carolus Rex: Strong contender for Album of the year in my opinion, The Power hungry swedes have brought their A game to this offering. Seriously impressive stuff. Hair raising ballad's. And probably the best cover in the universe! listenable below thanks to the power of YOUTUBE!

and of course, the one that this week hath been unleashed...
 
Ensiferum's Unsung Heroes!  Absolutely amazing, i posted the video a while ago, on a friday, go check it out there! The whole album is fist-pumpingly epic, and as hard and fast as ever! these guys prove why they are masters of the Folk metalverse!

Today I want to just highlight some things, have a fun read guys, this is a bumpy one.

Firstly PUSSY RIOT, a few weeks ago nobody knew who these kids were, now they’re fucking everywhere, WTF? People have been protesting their governments as long as governments have existed. “ooh, they got arrested for protesting their government. It’s noble and shit... FUCK THAT you hipster twats, it’s a publicity stunt. That’s all, their fanbase has skyrocketed online, even MAX NORMAL and his 12 year old wife(I flatout refuse to use their current pseudonym, as it is silly) have posted a “Free pussy Riot” photo on their facebook,  seriously ALL GOVERNMENTS have corruption, MANY bands protest their country’s regime. PUSSY RIOT  IS NOT SPECIAL.

Special.... that gets me thinking, Dave Mustaine has been acting “special” lately. Megadeth has always had a bit of a political slant to their music, but now Dave is all like “Nazi America” and “Adolf Obama” and gun bans and violence and oh, Obama may or may not be a baby rapist. It’s like the fact that he’s not as famous as the guys that booted him out of Metallica yonks ago, is FINALLY hitting him. Seriously Dave, Stop being so bloody melodramatic and just write another “Rust in Peace” album. That will make the world love you.

Another point of maddening for me is Howzit MSN, WTF, guys? Every Monday when I open the page, (It’s my homepage at work) I’m faced with “The Weekends most Shocking Stories” usually rape, murder, arson, shit like that... WORST Thing ever! It’s like hey guy, while you were out having fun with your friends, people died and austistic children were raped. The fuck MSN, trying to guilt-trip me into becoming a WOW-hermit.

I had a great weekend, not gonna let a website pushing fear ruin it for me... I’ll leave that to the Evangelist in the office. (wait, she’s off today, great! At least something good today)

 The long and short of it is, I’m ranting because I couldn’t find my FUCKING EARPHONES this morning, so I’m NOT currently listening to the new KORPIKLAANI album.

Yesterday, I saw degeneration on faceboobs. Seriously, people posting and talking about the most inane subject known to the internet. The weather! Why? I ask with virgin tears running down my face (I often pay virgins to cry on me, as years of callousness have rendered my tear ducts dryer than the Mojave desert during a sandstorm) anyway, I see it like this, if you have nothing better to post on your timeline than something about the weather, just DON’T POST! My news feed has degenerated already into a PG13 version of 4chan. I don’t really need it broken up by satellite photos and screenshots of weather websites. It’s cold, and it’s going to stay cold, I get it.

Sifting through the drudge of pictures and motivational pictures with fucking Helvetica font, I found actual news. This guy I know, “Skingrinder” has begun work at Playboy South Africa. I foresee problems for him and the vegan girlfriend, if you know what I mean! Jokes aside, I hope it goes well for him.

On my front, I’m getting pretty sick and tired of middle aged colleagues that have learning disabilities, or are just generally thick. I mean, it’s like my boss doesn’t trust young, intelligent people to run the business. It’s insane. Add to that the fact that I’m one of only to people IN THE ENTIRE COMPANY that are fully computer literate, and you get what I have to deal with every fucking day. It makes me feel like Mel Gibson in an Australian wasteland, surrounded by children and a “Tina Turner” which I assume is part of an engine or something.

YES, I AM A STUPIDIST! But, you know, at least I have a job, but the feelers are out for something better... MOAR MUNNIES!

Also it being Wednesday, it is widely considered “hump day” as in the middle of the week, it’s all downhill from here, so strap in and enjoy the ride, the weekend is almost upon us!

So, it’s been a while, but I’m back, apologies if you were expecting another post sooner, but I couldn’t be bothered to blog during a long weekend. Yes, the gods of industry showed favour upon me and gave me Friday off work (without having to claim leave) pretty bitching! Anyway,

This weekend was just what the old batteries needed. I feel ready to get through this week, it may be a tough one.

Notable events this weekend included: A whiskey fuelled steak cook-off, sadly, it ended in a tie. Murdering tons of Skags and psychotic midgets with a Crazy rationalist, (golden guns just seem to shoot better than regular ones). Also got into Leisure suit Larry’s bed, with like, 3 other people, it’s a magical place. Visited friends I haven’t  “kuiered” with in ages.  And watched  some movies in between it all.

“The raven” aka “That newish Edgar Allan Poe movie” was actually a let down, expected a bit more, but then again, that’s Hollywood for you. The deaths were pretty  cool, but that’s it.

I know this didn’t come across as much of a rant, but I don’t have anything to rant about.... Yet.
